Membership Pathway Challenge

This weekend saw the first workshop for the Membership Challenge. A very important part of our Province is to understand our membership and today saw a very informative and productive chat about the way forward.

Talks focused on engagement with members, the roles of the mentor, almoner, proposer, and seconder as well as how the membership as a whole have the responsibility to promote better engagement with our members, better ways to attract new members and how to retrieve members whose interest may have waned or those who have disengaged.

This was a real chance to emphasise what are the strong points of our organisations membership challenge and ways we can do things better at keeping the membership involved and invigorated with continued learning and development and a realistic plan of what works for us in a local context. A tremendous amount of conversation and feedback has helped us to share knowledge and understanding enabling a very successful workshop.

We look forward to next weekend’s workshop
