Freemasons have a range of hobby’s, past times and professions and our meetings and gatherings bring together people from all walks of life.
A few years ago a group of Brethren from across lodges came together not to start a new lodge like we hear from time to time, but instead consecrate their very own farm.
Fondly named Cuckoo Lane Farm they own a range of animals between them and for the fourth year in a row they took along 13 of their pigs to the West Show which took place in August which you might have seen featured in the Guernsey Press.
The care they give their animals was recognised with winning best sow with their pigs Katherine and Gabriel and with their piglets they won best piglets.
