May 20th we take a look at the installation meeting of Balfour Cockburn Lodge No. 2805. The installation meeting was held on the 29th April and saw Steve Melbourne installed as master of the lodge. This was Steve’s first time in the position of master of his or any other lodge.
Steve was installed by the now past master James Read. James was presented with his past masters jewel, to mark the dedication shown in his year as master of the lodge, by his father Keith Read. I am sure you will all remember Keith is our former Provincial Grand Master! So this made the presentation that much more memorable. This also marked Simon Hamon’s first official outing to an Installation meeting as Deputy Provincial Grand Master!
