A special space!

A new Perpetual Memorial Rose Garden will be officially opened at the Masonic Centre this coming saturday the 3rd October at 11.00am.

The Len Tostevin Memorial Rose Graden will be a lasting tribute to the late Len Tostevin whose legacy donation to Loyalty Lodge supported the completion of this garden.

The memorial garden has been created as a permanent place of remembrance and reflection, with the first rose dedicated in memory of Len Tostevin, who was a valued member of Loyalty Lodge for many years and well known within Guernsey Freemasonry.

Len’s family have been closely involved in supporting the project and will attend the official opening ceremony.

The event will begin with a welcome from David Hodgetts, Past Provincial Grand Master, who will introduce Lorraine Tostevin, speaking on behalf of the Tostevin family.

The garden will be officially opened with the cutting of a ribbon beneath a beautiful rose arch, followed by the unveiling of a black granite memorial stone.

The project has benefitted from Len’s legacy and offers a way for members of the freemasonry community to create a lasting memorial. Individuals can dedicate a rose within the garden, with each dedication marked by a sea pebble engraved with the name or message of remembrance.

If you are able, please come up to support this very special occasion!
