Bro Johnson Beharry, born on the 26th July 1979 in Grenada he has four brothers and three sisters. Bro Beharry is a British Army soldier who, on 18 March 2005, was awarded the Victoria Cross, the highest military decoration for valour in the British and Commonwealth armed forces, for saving members of his unit, the 1st Battalion Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment, from ambushes on 1 May and again on 11 June 2004 at Al-Amarah, Iraq. He sustained serious head injuries in the latter engagement. Bro Beharry was formally invested with the Victoria Cross by Queen Elizabeth II on 27 April 2005. He is involved in charities, and he is the founder of JBVC Foundation, which helps young people involved in gang culture rebuild their lives and future. Bro Beharry is a member of Queensman Lodge No.2694 in London. The Lodge meets in Freemasons’ Hall, Great Queen Street, London on the fourth Saturday in March, 1st Saturday in June (installation), 2nd Saturday in September and 1st Saturday in December.
