An antique silver circular pendent cut to show various Masonic emblems.
The pendent is dated A.M 5766 (AD 1766) with the words engraved on the rim “Sit Lux et Lux Fuit” on the front and on the reverse the words “Amor. Honor et Justitia” and the compass points E S W N, the pendent is 45mm diameter and is 925 silver.
A translation of the words engraved from Latin to English on the front “Sit Lux et Lux Fuit” meaning “Let there be light and there was light” and on the reverse “Amor. Honor et Justitia” meaning “Love. Honor and Justice” this motto is the same as what is also on a Doyles Lodge No.84 Bible.
