The history of Queensman Lodge No.2694,
The Queens Regiment was formed in December 1966 when the County Regiments of Surrey, Kent, Sussex and Middlesex came together to form one large Regiment consisting of 4 Regular Battalions and 3 TA Battalions. In 1992 along with the Royal Hampshire Regiment the 3 remaining Regular and TA Battalions merged to form the Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment (PWRR).
In 2011 a collection of Masons who were Ex Queensman or Masons that had served in its forebear Regiments or within the Regimental family came together to form a Queensman Lodge No.2694. This came about by mutual consent with Justinian Lodge No. 2694 which at that time were close to handing in their Warrant due to a decline in their membership.
On the 26th May 2012 Justinian Lodge formally became Queensman Lodge No. 2694 and the Lodge crest at that time reverted to the Badge of the Queen’s Regiment.
