Guernsey Freemasons were delighted to welcome more than 150 visitors to their Open Day at the Masonic Hall in St Martins last Saturday.
The event gave members of the public a unique opportunity to explore the historic building and grounds, with many enjoying guided tours led by local Freemasons. Visitors were able to learn more about Freemasonry in Guernsey, ask questions, and gain a greater understanding of the values, traditions and charitable work associated with the organisation.
Those attending ranged from existing Freemasons and individuals interested in joining, to many who were simply curious to see what takes place within the Hall and learn more about the organisation.
The Open Day also provided an opportunity to share information about the forthcoming launch of Guernsey’s new Ladies Lodge, an exciting development that generated considerable interest amongst visitors.

The interest shown in the upcoming Ladies Lodge was particularly encouraging, and we hope this will be the first of many similar community events in the future.”
Following the success of the day, Guernsey Freemasons hope to hold another Open Day in the future, continuing to provide opportunities for islanders to learn more about Freemasonry and the role it plays within the local community.
