Sponsored cycle across Europe in aid of Brain Tumour Charity

Guernsey & Alderney Light Blues Club Member Ben Davidson is raising money for The Brain Tumour Charity, he will be cycling 3,500 kilometres, and is trying to raise £3500, so 1 pound per kilometre. It will take him from the 11th of September, to around the first week of November.

He will be going from St Malo, through Belgium, the Netherlands, through Germany to Denmark, into Sweden, back through Denmark to Germany, to finish the first leg in Berlin. Then will take a train to Milan, then from Milan to Toulouse.

He plans on going through most capital cities, with the exception of Paris and Rome.

Ben said he chose the brain tumour charity, because he has known a few families who have been affected by a brain tumour, but also, one of his best friends when he was 14 died of a brain tumour he didn’t know he had. Ben said “It’s something I feel very strongly about, and I know the hardship that his family had to go through to recover from his passing. I don’t think anyone should go through that, especially children and their families. So that’s why I’m doing it for the brain tumour charity”

Ben would appreciate any amount of sponsorship as he aims to hit his target so please donate anything you can by following this link:
