Bro Clark Cable, Born William Clark Cable on the 1st February 1901 in Cadiz Ohio USA his mother died when he was ten months old and was raised by his father and step mother, she had quite an influence on his life giving him piano lessons and starting his love for music and performance. Bro Cable was Initiated into Freemasonry on the 1st September 1933 passed to the Second Degree on the 17th October 1933 and Raised to the Third Degree on the 31st October 1933 in Beverly Hills Lodge No.528. As well as an esteemed actor and performer he was also a veteran of the Second World War after he enlisted in the United States Army under the Army Air Forces on the 12th August 1942. Bro Gable flew five combat missions, including one to Germany, as an observer-gunner in B-17 Flying Fortresses between May 4 and September 23, 1943, earning the Air Medal and the Distinguished Flying Cross for his efforts. When Clark Gable’s life was cut short at the age of 59, he passed away on the 16th November 1960 as a result of a heart attack. He had already starred in more than 50 motion pictures. His career spanned an astonishing 37 years, most spent as a leading man in major films. As one of the most consistent box-office performers in Hollywood history, he fully earned his nickname: The King of Hollywood.
