Measuring at just 5 1/2 inches, with its scalloped Rococo shape and depicting a typical Masonic Lodge Building in the centre it is surrounded by various Masonic symbols.
At the top working around we have the Square and Compass then the Radiating Sun showing the Day the Volume of the Sacred Law. The Moon and Seven Stars depicting the night.
Next is the All seeing eye and then the Hand and heart for Charity. On the left hand side is the winged hourglass, symbolising mortality and the sands of time slipping away.
This highly decorated Child’s Masonic plate is believed to have been produced circa 1830.
