St Ann’s Charitable Donation to Alderney Youth

St Ann’s Lodge of Freemasons in Alderney has continued its support for the island’s young people with a donation of £500 to Tripsfund.

The cheque was presented by the Worshipful Master of St Ann’s Lodge, Haydn Bateman, to Jim Phillips of Tripsfund, an organisation dedicated to helping Alderney’s youth take part in a wide range of educational, sporting and organisational trips off-island.

Tripsfund plays an important role in ensuring that young people in Alderney have opportunities to broaden their experiences, develop new skills and represent the island in a variety of activities that might otherwise be beyond financial reach.

Speaking on behalf of St Ann’s Lodge, Worshipful Master Haydn Bateman said:
“We are delighted to support Tripsfund and the valuable work they do for the young people of Alderney. These trips provide life-changing opportunities and experiences, and we hope this contribution will help more young islanders take part in future activities.”
Jim Phillips from Tripsfund expressed his gratitude for the donation, noting that community support is vital in helping the organisation continue its work for Alderney’s youth.
The presentation reflects St Ann’s Lodge’s ongoing commitment to supporting local charities and community initiatives across Alderney.
