The Provincial Grand Master RW Bro Keith Read and other members of the Province were delighted to welcome both the Chelsea Pensioners and a detachment of Gurkhas from the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst to a reception at the Masonic Centre on Coronation Day and the Liberation Weekend.
Most of the local Lodges in the Province generously support some of the travel and other costs of the Royal Hospital Chelsea on their annual visit for the Liberation Celebrations.
The Provincial Grand Master was presented with a Kukri knife by Major Ramkumar Rai, Gurkhas and a picture of a scene in the Royal Hospital Chelsea by Captain of Invalids, Major Steve Andrews.
