Mark Master Masons Token for the Channel Islands Provincial Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons.
The form of the token has the Channel Islands in the centre and around the edge is “Channel Islands Provincial GL of MMM” with the Mark Key Stone at the top.
On the obverse of the token is the working tools of a Mark Master Mason a Heavy Maul and Chisel.
The Provincial Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons was formed in 1989 and consecrated at the Masonic Temple, Le Marchant Street St Peter Port. The Province consists of six Mark Lodges and four Royal Ark Mariners Lodges.
The ceremony of a candidate Joining Mark is called being “Advanced” into the Order and is centred around the symbolism of the Keystone, and explores the building of King Solomons Temple, like all other Masonic Orders it adds to the high moral standards promoted by the Brethren in everyday life.
