This Gavel that was presented to Hansard Lodge No.3515, by the Star of the West Lodge No.92 of Western Australia.
The Gavel was presented to W Bro. Mann, who was Worshipful Master of Hansard Lodge No.3515 during 1977 and 1989 unfortunately it is unknown what year it had been presented him. It was subsequently presented to the Museum in 2001.
The Star of the West Lodge No.92 was Consecrated on the 2nd February 1897 by the Worshipful Master, Brother I H Soloman in St. George’s Hall, Howick Street (now Hay Street), Perth. The Lodge transferred its allegiance to the Grand Lodge of Western Australian Freemasons on the 29th September 1911.
