W.Bro. Richard Pinchemain, WM of St Sampson’s Lodge, presented a cheque on behalf of the Guernsey Masonic Golf Association to W.Br.Rob Grant, organizer of the annual visit of the Chelsea Pensioners and Gurkhas.
Rob was delighted to receive this incredibly generous donation from the local Masonic golfers. He noted that it was through the generosity of local Freemasons that he was able to bring them over each year to help celebrate Liberation Day, and that this donation was a huge first step in bringing the Chelsea Pensioners over to join the island celebrate the 80th anniversary of Liberation Day in 2025.
