First Annual Communication Meeting for our new Head of Masonry shared with 130 freemasons

On Friday 17th October 141 masons enjoyed the first Annual Communication Meeting of our Provincial Grand Master RW Bro Phillip A Falla who was invested into the role in March this year.

Visitors from across the UK and Jersey shared the evening with Brethren from every lodge in the Province.

The Head of Guernsey and Alderney of Freemasonry know to most as Phil shared his vision for the future and some of the exciting projects already underway including the launch of this new website and a Light Blues Club.

He also greeted and congratulated the masons who have recently been raised which is the third ceremony you take part in having been initiated when you join and then passed to the second degree and chatted to each.

The work of the members was thanked from the many activities to fund raising, service and charity support.

A number of members of the Province were promoted having put in so much support to their lodges and the Province, which was a joy for those watching to see friends recognised for all they do over so many years.

After the ceremonial part of the meeting a packed festive board which is the meal we share after a meeting took place amongst new and old friends.

A special mention and thanks to all that helped ensure a wonderful time for our visitors, all that attended and to the caterers who once again served an incredible meal for nearly 130 dining.
